Step 4:
Once you have passed the initial clinical proficiency exam, you can apply to receive your own personalized CLMD-branded telemedicine clinic and website. This program includes an EMR on AZOVA, malpractice insurance, virtual clinic support staff and essentially enables you to start seeing patients right away. You will receive a credentialing application from AZOVA that must be completed prior to using the telemedicine clinic. The teledermatology program is for prescribers (MD/DO, NP, or PA). Non-prescribers can participate in the fellowship, but cannot participate in the teledermatology program.
Note: if you are unable to pass credentialing, you will not be able to participate in the teledermatology program. Individuals who have committed a felony, have been put on probation, or have had some other disciplinary action may not be eligible to participate. You can still participate in the fellowship, but you won’t be able to participate in the teledermatology program.
