When you get a telehealth visit on AZOVA, you can get a prescription for each medication that your provider prescribers. Controlled substances are not prescribed on AZOVA. Select what condition you want to be seen for and get a next available appointment or choose your provider and get your visit. Your provider will prescribe what is appropriate for you.
General telehealth visits cost $59 or less. Specialist visits are $69 or more. You can select your provider based on their specialty or your condition. Prices vary depending on the type of visit and type of provider that you select.
There is no age limit for a telehealth visit. For minor patients, a parent or a guardian must register for the appointment.
You can request a cancelation of your telehealth visit if your submit a cancelation request 24 hours or more before your visit. Next-available and on demand visits and COVID test kits are not refundable.
You will complete an online healthcare registration where we will ask you to answer questions about your health, medications and past medical history. We will ask for a photo of your government-issued photo ID, a headshot, and photos of relevant health conditions as appropriate. Complete the registration and payment and your information will be reviewed by your healthcare provider and your provider will create a personalized assessment and plan and will write for any recommended prescriptions. In some states, a video call is required, please make yourself available to video chat with the provider after you complete your appointment registration. You will receive a message from AZOVA with the approximate time for your call. If you specifically scheduled a video call, please join the call at your scheduled appointment time.
You can use an HSA or FSA card to pay for your telemedicine visit. We will provide a receipt for you to submit to your health plan. To view your receipt, go to your dashboard and click on orders to view and print your receipt. You can also submit a claim to your insurance plan for the cost of a COVID test kit or for in person provider administered COVID testing in the United States. COVID testing outside of the United States may or may not be covered by your insurance, but AZOVA cannot comment regarding reimbursement by any insurance company. If you get a telemedicine visit for the treatment of COVID and your provider prescribes Paxlovid or Molnupiravir, the United States government is currently covering the cost of Paxlovid and Molnupiravir so it should free of charge at the pharmacy.
